Overlooking the stunning views of Monsal Dale in Derbyshire, with the old viaduct down below which creates part of the popular Monsal trail. Known for its beauty after a late night walk here in early spring I knew I had to try and capture it. With the rain clouds rolling in from one side and the sun setting below the skyline, with a pink lit sky and hazy mist over the hills. Whether you’ve spent some time exploring the hills of Derbyshire or just appreciate the view this illustration hopefully brings a little of its magic to you.
