Three Ships at Birchen Edge
Three Ships at Birchen Edge

Birchen Edge can be found in the Peak District, with its stunning rock face set against the beautiful landscape of Derbyshire. Not only a sight to be seen in its own right, Birchen Edge is also home to 3 rock outcrops named after Lord Nelson’s ships from the Battle of Trafalgar. Across from these rocks is Nelsons Monument dating back to 1810. A snippet into a little bit of history alongside this natural beauty. This illustration is inspired by my walks up at Birchen Edge, enjoying it in the glorious sunset.
